Temperatures average 30°C (86°F) during the day and 25°C
(77°F) at night.
Rain is more likely during June to November. Trade winds cool the
island most of the year.

Can I drive in Barbados with my current licence? What side of the road
would I drive on?
Yes, just bring your license. Driving is on the left hand side of
the road.
Q. Is there a bus service on Barbados?
Yes, there are two types: Government bus services (blue with a yellow
stripe) and privately owned minibuses (yellow with a blue stripe).
There is a flat fare of Bds$1.50 and on the blue buses you
must have the correct fare.
Q. Do I need any inoculations for travelling to Barbados?
No inoculations are required.
Q. Do I require a Visa to enter Barbados?
UK residents just require a passport. Other nationalities may require a
Visa.
Q. What is the standard currency? Can I use a credit
card?
The Barbados Dollar (Bds$) which is tied to the US Dollar. US Dollars
are also accepted. Credit cards are generally accepted.

English – So it is easy to shop, travel and chat to the locals.
Q. What is the voltage of the local electricity supply?
110V – Please bring an adapter for any appliances you wish to bring.
